Trusted Heating & Cooling’s sales representative’s professionalism, their simple pricing descriptions, and then offering the best price – really helped us make our decision.
“Last year, we had issues with our furnace that several service companies could not figure out. Trusted was the 3rd company to look at it and get it to work. We knew that our furnace was on its last legs, and called Trusted this again this fall. Jason was our sales rep and he did a great job in explaining our different options in a way that was easy for us to understand. We have a child with lung issues and liked the air purification options. We also liked that Jason was the only sales rep who did not bad mouth the other companies even though he knew we were getting other quotes. We got quotes from 3 different companies and really liked two of the companies. We went with Trusted for several reasons. Their price was reasonable. We really liked Jason and felt like he was honest. He took the time to listen to our needs, didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t need and came across as a nice guy who also really knew his product. Also, we had a concern the previous year regarding our old furnace and Trusted’s owner went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service and that really made an impression.
Before work could begin, we discovered that the closet for the furnace had popcorn on all of its walls. Since our home is older, we decided to have abatement done in case it was asbestos. Trusted was willing to work with us in removing the furnace, waiting a week for the abatement to be done, and then coming back to install the new furnace and air conditioning unit. They did not charge us for the extra travel time or inconvenience.
The job went well. The guys were courteous, on time, and left the place clean. My husband works from home and needs it quiet since he is on the phone and the guys respected that. Once, they got to the house before I was back from taking our child to school. Trusted saw that my van was not there and waited until I got home before approaching the house since our dog would bark and make things loud for my husband. We have an older home and have had a lot of workers in our home, but we have never had a company be so understanding of our needs. Also, I was home while the work was going on and could overhear the worker’s conversations. What I overheard confirmed that they really are nice guys.
The furnace we bought came with several rebates. Jason went above and beyond in helping us with the rebate process. At one point, he even called Lennox to make sure we were getting all of the rebates we could. Jason did this on his own without us asking him to which we really appreciated.
I have high expectations for workers in my home. I am very pleased with the work that was performed in our home and the outstanding customer service. I don’t have any complaints or concerns. I am happy to highly recommend Trusted.”
Trusted Heating & Cooling’s sales representative’s professionalism, their simple pricing descriptions, and then offering the best price – really helped us make our decision.
Jason had a very simple pricing guide to show (unlike the others who had to perform quotes on laptops, print them out – then you could not tell what each component was costing). This simple process made us much more comfortable with understanding what we were getting for our money.
Trusted Heating & Cooling’s sales representative’s professionalism, their simple pricing descriptions, and then offering the best price – really helped us make our decision to go for the best equipment, sign a simple agreement with them that afternoon, and give Jason a 50% deposit. We are VERY happy with Trusted Heating & Cooling’s work and the great Lennox equipment!
September 2012 “Service Tech Richard did a great job going over the entire AC system. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. Good job.”
Trusted Heating and Cooling did an outstanding job and I would recommend them to anyone
“I called Trusted A/C and Jason came out within a day or two to give me an estimate. When Jason arrived, he was very professional at all times and very knowledgeable on the HVAC systems and water heater. I did have another company coming out to give me my third estimate, so I told Jason I would be contacting him after that to let him know either way.
Trusted A/C’s estimate was right in the middle of the other two, so I called Jason up and hired Trusted A/C for the job. Jason came back and did the calculations to ensure they installed the correct size unit for my home. As we were talking about the areas of the house that are hotter than others, he noticed the registers were not the correct kind for A/C. With the correct kind, I can open and close the third set of blades to balance the air throughout the house.
The guys came out the following week to install the new HVAC and water heater. They were very professional and courteous the entire time they were here. There was a little problem with the crane needed to remove the old unit from the roof and place the new one on the roof, but that was taken care of and it was here the next morning. Luckily I also have an evaporative cooler, so it didn’t bother me not having the A/C. Since they were kind of at a standstill waiting for the crane, they jumped on the water heater. It was so old and full of crud at the bottom it took forever to drain. The old one, which was installed way before I bought the home, was plumbed all wrong. Getting the new unit in was no problem, but it did take they guys a little bit to get the plumbing done correctly. The new water heater and plumbing look fantastic and will be so much easier to maintain. They also replaced the thermostat and registers in no time. They cleaned up after everything they did. In fact, they had “Grandma” here cleaning up and she practically mopped the entire floor from the water heater to the door. Couldn’t ask for more!!!
When the crane arrived the next morning, the new unit was up and in-place in no time and the old unit was down and the crane was gone. They were very efficient and the crane driver was excellent at maneuvering the crane into the tight driveway to get access to the roof. They finished up mid-day and then Jason came out to do a final inspection before calling the job complete. The system has been in for about three weeks now, and with the registers balanced, I don’t have the hot spots I used to. Trusted A/C did an outstanding job and I would recommend them to anyone.”

They are very professional.
May 2012 “It could not have been better. They are clean. They are efficient. They are timely. They are very professional. They are very conscientious. They are very safe in the home. It’s 3 generations of the same family. I will use them in the future.”
February 2012″I would recommend them to anyone.
February 2012 I would recommend them to anyone. I have on one occasion had a miscommunication with them but the owner handled it right away. I was so happy using them for the first time for a repair that I didn’t even consider using anyone else for the new unit. So far the quality has been great.”
It has been the best experience I have ever had in buying a major system.
“In the second week of July, I started to have trouble with my air conditioning system. The circuit breaker kept tripping I. had it checked two weeks earlier for the summer season. I had the same people come back to fix it. I was told that nothing was wrong with the unit and that it was the breaker. I had a new breaker installed and it also tripped. At this time I decided to call, Trusted, based on my neighbor’s recommendation. They came to visit on Friday and gave me a quote for a heating, cooling and air filtering system and also a new hot water heater. They gave me a delivery of the following Monday. On Monday morning a crew arrived they dismantled the old system and began to install the new one.T hen an elderly couple arrived and I was told that they were the grandparents. I could not believe the grandfather would do all of the sheet metal work needed for the system and that it was the best work that I had ever seen. The younger men worked very diligently along with help from their supervisor. They also fixed a problem with airflow to one of my rooms. It has been the best experience I have ever had in buying a major system. ”

To-date I have been pleased with the new unit and would recommend Trusted to any of my neighbors.
“Prior to retirement, I was at the Rockwell International Science Center in Thousand Oaks, California, as Director of Research Assessment. I learned about your company from a neighbor whose sister-in-law had some major work done at her home in Green Valley and was very pleased. Yes, I had another major company visit my home and received an offer to replace my heating and cooling system. Your representative, visited my home and made a very thorough evaluation. I was impressed at the details covered. A proposal was made that was more expensive than my previous offer. However, I selected Trusted because I felt more comfortable. I was very fortunate to be able to witness the entire operation, meet some of the employees and was very pleased with the professionalism. Those who removed the older unit and replaced it with a Lennox 15 SEER were very professional. They did a great job! To-date I have been pleased with the new unit and would recommend Trusted to any of my neighbors.”

I couldn’t have asked for nicer people in my home installing our new system
I am retired, but I used to be a housekeeper at an elderly apt. complex. I discovered your Trusted Heating and Cooling online while looking for an air conditioning and heating contractor. We bought a Coleman gas furnace with a Goodman mfg. 13 seer condenser & coil. Jay was very knowledgeable about bidding the job & was extremely friendly & courteous. Dean & David the installation (technicians) we had from Trusted were such a pleasure to deal with. They made sure that the carpeting was covered, they were careful of our walls, etc. They performed their job diligently but were always ready to answer any question I had.
I couldn’t have asked for nicer people in my home installing our new system. They all deserve an A+. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone.

My wife and I are quite happy with the result
When my home’s ten-year-old Bryant 5-ton AC Furnace split system needed replacement, I requested estimates from three HVAC businesses that received excellent reviews on Angie’s List. Trusted was one of them. As I explained to each estimator, my two main complaints with the existing Bryant unit was that it would cycle on and off frequently resulting in uncomfortable temperature swings both in summer and winter and that the unit was much too loud inside and outside the home.
To reduce the noise level, I asked each estimator about relocating the unit to the roof. Each said that it could be done, but Trusted was the only one to have the company’s Chief Installer come to my house to look into it directly. Ben carefully explained that, despite the claims of other estimators, although a roof relocation could be done, for several logical and clearly explained reasons, it was really not the smart way to go. Ben further explained several additional measures that could be taken to reduce inside noise if a Lennox unit was installed in the current HVAC interior location.
Based on price and some unrealistic promises (and bad decision making), and despite my wife’s preference for Trusted, I decided to have a 5-ton Rheem unit installed by a different company. As soon as the Rheem blower was turned on for testing during the installation procedure, my wife and I both realized that the noise level was nothing if not louder than our old Bryant.
To make this too-long-story somewhat shorter, I refused to continue with the Rheem installation and demanded the company remove the unit. Taking Trusted’s advice, I then had Trusted install a Lennox 17 SEER XC 17 SL280V 4-ton two stage unit. To further reduce noise levels, Trusted cleverly enlarged the return intake, lined the return surface areas with high-quality soundboard, and re-covered the HVAC room with metal. Four Trusted people worked all day and did a very thorough and professional job.
My wife and I are quite happy with the result. The Lennox heating is very even and the blower sound is much reduced. During testing of the AC the indoor unit was very quiet, and my neighbor is really going to be happy with the reduced compressor noise next summer.
Except for the occasional ribbing from my wife, the finished result turned out much better that I expected. Good job, Trusted!
Such genuinely nice people. It’s a real family affair.
Trusted Heating & Cooling I recently met Trusted Heating & Cooling at their exhibit at the 2010 Tucson Home Show. We set up an appointment for a free estimate at my home the following week. My husband and I are retired. We recently purchased a home needing a new HAC unit, and knowing little about how to purchase a unit or how to choose a reliable contractor, I turned to friends and then to the internet to educate myself before the technician from Trusted arrived. I had one contractor out who said they could “fix” my 17-year-old unit for $1200 – a unit that was really beyond its life expectancy. I had also seen my daughter’s experience purchasing a unit for her home. No one measured anything–they just told her which unit she needed and how much. I didn’t have high expectations. I was prepared for the typical quick look at my existing unit and a quick estimate. To my surprise, the technician set up his computer at the dining room table and spent the next two hours measuring the square footage of my home, checking window types, ceiling heights and insulation, asking about our needs/requirements for heating and cooling, i.e., how many people (or big dogs!) at home during the day, etc., and basically educated us about how to choose a unit, repeating much of which I had learned at the Department of Energy’s website. (Did you know that most homes have units that are too large? Yeah, I didn’t either!)
The Technician actually had a copy of the Department of Energy’s website in his presentation materials. I never had to mention Manual J or Manual D, as they beat me to it. I honestly felt like we’d had an education. He also didn’t try to sell a particular unit but showed that, based on his computer calculations, he would recommend 3 different units at a range of prices. Installation day was just as remarkable. We met Ben, Manny, Jason, Stella and Bill (grandparents of Ben and the founders of the company, now working for Ben – the younger generation!). Such genuinely nice people. It’s a real family affair. They take pride in their work and workmanship and, most of all, in their customers’ satisfaction. They arrived on time and did a superb job. The place was cleaned spotless and the guys on the roof did such a neat and precise job that it was evident they took pride in their work. They followed up several times to see if we were satisfied. Who does that anymore? It was a rare experience, and I take great pleasure in recommending them.
